So after two weeks of feeling like crap, I finally go to the doctor's office. First time on my own insurance, never had to handle this crap before, tend to be generally healthy, but anyhow... Doc looks at me and we have the following exchange:
Doc: How long have you had that cough?
Me: I don't know, maybe 10, 12 days...
Doc (cutting me off, looking at me like I'm a two year old who just shat his pants): 12 days? Take these pills till they're gone and take this Robitussin (sp?) with codine before bed. Oh, and don't drive after you take it.
So I've been fairly melting into the couch in a stupor all night... and that's my excuse for not posting at all lately... Sickness will do that to you... I promise to share an amazing story from work at some point this week... Don't worry, I'm back.
